| This mission will visit Guangzhou (Canton), capital
city of Guangdong province the venue for the 2010 Asia Games. British
companies in all sectors are welcome to take part in the trade mission.
UK company can choose one or more of the following options to take
part:
- Make a presentation on its company's products & relevant UK
industrial sectors at the Guangzhou seminar; with a grant to support
travel and seminar cost.
- Join the mission group and have a meeting programme of their own
- Visit the Stadia China 2006
- Exhibite and book exhibition space with discount
Qualified mission members can apply for a small number of speaking
slots at a British Seminar on Sport & Leisure Technologies and
Infrastructure Industries, which will be a part of the forum at
Stadia China 2006. Trade seminar members are entitled to reimbursement
up to 50% on travel and seminar cost by UK Trade & Investment
SESA grants through ChinaLink (subject to terms and conditions).

Stadia China 2006 exhibition provides opportunities for construction
and operation of the sports venues of Asian Games 2010, to be held
in Guangzhou, China. The Guangzhou Municipal authority is to spend
around £142 million to build several new stadiums and to upgrade
49 stadiums in Guangzhou.
The Fair, touted as China's most influential event for stadium
and arena sectors, will focus on technological innovation and the
state-of-the-art services of sports events, for which huge investment
will be earmarked for sports venues and the upgrade of infrastructure
for the City of Guangzhou. ChinaLink is the UK partner for the exhibition
organiser of the Stadia China 06. For companies interested in taking
