For the first time in a Bitish Chambers of Commerce annual conference,
a three-hour session is dedicated to a China Trade Forum and a
UK-China Business Matchmaking event.BCC has worked with its national
partner in China, the CCPIT, to bring this unique opportunity
for British companies - meeting Chinese manufacturers, exporters,
importers and trade policy makers at your own door step (see
the list
of Chinese companies and their interest).
The China Trade Forum that precedes the matchmaking will be addressed
by two keynote speakers, the BCC President Peter Mileham,
DL and the Chinese Minister Counsellor, Madam Fan Jiang.
The China Trade Question Time that follows will have a
very experienced panel of Chinese and British entrepreneurs, China
market advisers, and chamber senior international executives (see
the panel list below for details). At the UK-China Business Matchmaking,
more than 50 Chinese delegates from Shanghai, Beijing, Xiamen,
Harbin, Nanjing, Fushan, Suzhou, Taizhou, Kunshan, Danyang, Changzhou,
and Ningbo have already signed up to be present at the matchmaking
event, all with very specific purposes seeking to work with
UK companies. In addition to the 30 tables manned by Chinese delegates,
the British Embassy in Beijing, CCPITs and Shanghai FDI will have
tables at the matchmaking.
