A delegation of four headed by Secretary-General
of Shanghai City Government Mr. Jiang SiXian visited Liverpool between
7th and 9th April. Accompanied by Dr. Kegang Wu, Director of China
Affairs Office for the city council, the delegation met the Lord Mayor
of Liverpool and discussed business cooperation with Liverpool Chamber
of Commerce & Industry. |
| They visited Albert Dock, Liverpool Chinatown
and watched a football match between Everton FC and Manchester City
Club, in which Everton won 3:1. Mr. Jiang also met Sir Philip Carter,
Chairman of the Everton FC and Michael Dunford, Chief Executive of
Everton FC. |
