Shanghai Expo Is For SMEs Too
|

Shanghai for SMEs: your gateway to China and the 200+ countries and cities at the world’s greatest ever expo.
Wednesday 9th December 08.00 – 09.30 at the BT Convention Centre.
Next year’s Shanghai World Expo is going to be the biggest business event of the year. And Liverpool is the only city from the UK to have its own presence. This is a golden opportunity for local businesses of all sizes to expand their trade horizons.
The event provides a once in a generation opportunity to develop international trade and build relationships in established and emerging markets. Running from May to October 2010, it is expected to attract 70 million visitors to a city at the hub of the world’s fastest growing and most dynamic economy.
Come along to a breakfast briefing for SMEs from Mike Taylor Director of Investment and Enterprise at Liverpool Vision, who is heading up Liverpool’s World Expo project.
The Expo runs for six months. Each month will be themed, allowing a wide range of companies and industries to be showcased.

Shanghai Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Commission, arrived
in Liverpool on Thursday, 26 July to investigate the inward investment

ChinaLink's Trade Mission to the Canton Fair for years has been
used by many British companies as one of the most effective ways
to import or to arrange for products to be manufactured in China.
This year, an import section (Phase one only: 15 - 20 October) has
been added. ChinaLink is the UK partner of the Canton Fair and has
pre-booked a limited number of stands for UK companies. With virtually
