| A delegation of nine led by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool
Eddie Clein Was invited by the Mayor of Shanghai Xu Kuangdi to visit
Shanghai between 19th March to 23rd March. |

The delegation was warmly
welcome by the city government of Shanghai and Shanghai people. They
visited economic and trade rganisations, the Pudong New Area, Shanghai
Stock Exchange, Shanghai ChildrenWelfare Institute, Zhonghua Shipyard,
Shanghai Orient Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai Museum etc.. |
| The Lord Mayor of Liverpool Eddie Clein presented a
Everton football kit to Mayor of Shanghai Xu Kuangdi. Mr. Xu was pleased
to accept the invitation to visit Liverpool by Mr. Clein. |
