Chamber of Commerce & Industry and working in partnerships

an one-stop-shop aiming at servicing UK and Chinese companies and trade
organisations for the UK-China trade.

Seminars in China
ChinaLink operates with
Trade Partners UK a series of trade missions, exhibitions
and trade seminars to China. Financial supports are available for
qualified British companies taken part in these events. These events
are supported by a comprehensive range of supporting mission supporting
services.

With our own Representative Office in Shanghai and a network of
Chinese chamber partners, we can virtually reach most part of China
and provide a wide range of in-market support services for individual
visit, mission group or long-term promotion.

Hosting
Chinese business delegations
Last year we received over 15 Chinese delegations from different
parts of China and the number is set to increase as ChinaLink's
partner network expands in China. Supporting services are being
provided for trade, investment, and other business co-operation.

Supports
to sectoral initiatives ChinaLink
is Trade Partners UK appointed organiser for the British Hi-Tech
Exhibition delegation to the China
Hi-Tech Fair. Relevant sectors include electronical, IT/computer,
medical, biotech, and many others. We have also involved in environmental
technology transfer. This year seen the beginning of British
Giftware Showcase in Shanghai (www.ukgift.net).
Our interest in many other prioritised sectors of UK-China and
Northwest - China will continue to develop and expand.

Club
Activities include informal meetings, seminars, newsletters, China trade
library, etc. A membership application is available on request.

Liverpool-Shanghai Sister City Link
ChinaLink has been instrumental
in twinning of Liverpool and Shanghai and is working closely with the
Liverpool City Council to establish the link to Shanghai as one of the
most important links for the UK - China relation. The Council's China
Affairs Office is co-located with ChinaLink
ensuring the joint-up of civic links and trade links.

Involved with every level of activities in the Chinese community
in the Northwest we have worked with many professional Chinese organisations
across the UK. Last year we celebrated with Liverpool Chinatown
recently for the new Chinatown archway (made in Shanghai) and this
year seen the newly created North West China Council. |
