The photos will then be shipped to Shanghai for exhibition. The Shanghai Foreign Affair Office of the Municipality Government has attached much importance to this event as one of the first cultural exchange events after the twining. It has selected 100 photos from Shanghai. Shanghai is looking for a building of similar status to that of St. George’s Hall to display the photos for the 13 million Shanghai residents.
This will surely be a very high profile event for the relationship between Liverpool and Shanghai, which is a key link for the two countries.
Selection of photos and preparation of the exhibitions in Liverpool will be the South Liverpool Photography Society.
