Automatic Cable Processing and Termination
The automatic processing capability includes single cut, cut and strip,
and strip and joint functions with a standard hours capacity in excess
of 50 million per annum.
Automatic cable terminatin capacity exceeds 50 million per annum with
additional options of bench or hand application if required. A wide range
of cable sizes and material can be handled - from 0.15 sq.mm (26 AWG)
to 10 sq.mm (7 AWG).
Cable Harnesses
D. Evans supply across the spectrum of cable harnesses - fromsimple light-lead
assemblies to large and complex HGV trailer harnesses. Harnesses can utilise
almost any insulation system, housing, IDC connection or termination.
The company regularly handles AMP, JST, Ross Courtney, Utilux, Molex
and Stoko components.
Prepared Wires
D. Evans are experts in the preparation and supply of a wide range of
cable types, e.g. PVC and Heat Resistant PVC, Silicon Rubber and High
Tear Silicon Rubber, PETE and ETFE.
Cord Sets/Mains Leads
Mains leads can be supplied with virtually any cable length, cable colour
or plug type.
The appliance end can be supplied flank but, stripped or terminated and
in addtional to standard PVC, cord sets can be supplied with heat resistant,
high temperature or flame retardant cables.
Wiring Assemblies
A broad range of assembly types are availalbe - from standard Tyrap,
sleeving and insulation to multiple cable processing, multi-cable joins
and daisy chaining - and automated KOMAX machinery is available for this
purpose.

D. Evans works in partnership with its customers to achieve their business
goals - optimised material flow, reduced lead times, reduced inventory,
