The Football Research Unit
University of Liverpool
The Football Research Unit was established in 1995, and has three main
aims:
- To initiate and conduct research into social, economic, cultural and
historical topics related to football
- To develop a substantial football resource archive
- To assist students and staff of the University, and any others, in
the study of football related topics.
The Unit runs an MBA(Football Industries) in conjunction with the Liverpool
Institute of Public Administration and Management. We also supervise students
at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels who are presenting football
related dissertations or theses.
