BIMAGRIP HD is a three component polyurethane resin system designed as
a flexible binder for anti-skid treatments to carriageways, road bridges
and the decks of multi-story car parks.
Based on polyurethane resins, BIMAGRIP HD has several advantages over
conventional anti-skid treatments which are based on epoxy resins. Polyurethanes
cure much quicker than epoxies, especially at low temperatures, allowing
earlier opening of treated areas to traffic. Polyurethanes are also more
flexible and adhesive than epoxies. They do not harden to the same extent
and so do not become brittle or de-bond as the system ages.
When application temperatures are below 5 degree C, a winter grade of
BIMAGRIP HD is available.
